The 2017 NFL regular season will come to an end at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as the Minnesota Vikings will end their season by hosting the Chicago Bears. This is the third time in four years that the regular season for the purple has concluded with a home game against Chicago.
The Vikings have something of significance to play for in this one, as a victory will wrap up the #2 seed in the NFC Playoffs and give them a week off before hosting a game in the divisional round. If they should lose, they can still secure a first-round bye based on the results of some other games, but the direct path to a bye involves taking down the Bears.
Minnesota has given up just seven points in the past two games combined, a 34-7 win at home over Cincinnati and a 16-0 win over Green Bay last Saturday. The Bears have won two of their last three, and last week helped to nudge Cleveland one step closer to an 0-16 season with a 20-3 victory at Soldier Field.
This game will kick off on FOX at noon Central time. We will have plenty more coverage of this one as we get closer to kickoff.
