If you’re going to Sunday’s game, be sure to bundle up

Because it’s gonna be a cold one out there

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

I don’t want to state the obvious here, but the weather in Minnesota is so cold. . .

HOW COLD IS IT!?

It’s so cold. . .the National Weather Service has put out a wind chill advisory for the next couple of days.

(What, you thought I had jokes? Weather is serious, people.)

Anyway, one of our readers brought this to my attention on the Twitters this morning, so I thought I would pass it along.

Now, according to the folks from Weather Underground, the “feels like” temperature at kickoff is supposed to be a balmy -26 degrees Fahrenheit. . .but, if you’re planning on doing any tailgating or anything like that, you’re looking at closer to -30. That, in meteorological parlance, is effing cold.

So, if you are planning on tailgating, or even if you’re just planning on traveling to see the Minnesota Vikings wrap up their first-round bye on Sunday afternoon, make sure you have plenty of warm clothing on. Layers are good. . .you can always take a layer or two off once you get to U.S. Bank Stadium. No, drinking lots of alcohol is not going to prevent your skin from freezing. It will just help you not realize it for a while. That’s still bad.

Again, if you’re venturing out tomorrow, make sure you stay warm. We need you for the postseason.
