We are just ninety minutes from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, which means it’s time to see who will be sitting this one out for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears. Both teams have released their inactive lists for today’s contest, so let’s see who will be out of this one. As always, we start with the visitors.
Chicago Bears
- DL Rashaad Coward
- DB Deiondre’ Hall
- OL Bobby Massie
- RB Taquan Mizzell
- QB Mark Sanchez
- TE Adam Shaheen
- OL Josh Sitton
No real surprises for the Bears on their inactive list. Both Massie and Sitton being out means that the Bears will have a new starting right side of their offensive line in this one, which should bode well for Minnesota’s defensive front.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- DE Tashawn Bower
- CB Tramaine Brock
- RB Mack Brown
- WR Stacy Coley
- C Pat Elflein
- QB Kyle Sloter
- DT Shamar Stephen
The Vikings placed long snapper Kevin McDermott on injured reserve yesterday, so he will not appear on the inactive list. No real surprises for the Vikings in this one with three players having been declared out on Friday (Brock, Elflein, Stephen). Cornelius Edison, who was elevated to the active roster on Saturday, is active for this one, as is defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson.
Your starting offensive line for the Vikings in this one will be as follows:
- LT Riley Reiff
- LG Jeremiah Sirles
- C Joe Berger
- RG Mike Remmers
- RT Rashod Hill
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The final inactive lists of the 2017 regular season. The Open Thread for the first quarter of play will be up and running at the top of the 11:00 AM Central time hour.
