The Vikings Are Hiring A Social Media Manager

Do you love the Minnesota Vikings?

If you can answer both of those questions in the affirmative, then the team might just have something for you.

Yes, it appears that the Vikings are looking to hire a new Social Media Manager to handle their online presence.

The job, according to the description, entails directing “all social programs relating to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.” The requirements for the job say that it requires a Bachelor’s Degree, as well as 5+ years of experience in Social Media, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

I don’t know if “spending way too much time online” qualifies as “experience” in this case, but if it does, I think I know a lot of people that would be qualified (or, frankly, overqualified) for this position.

So, if you’re big into social media and/or know someone that is, they could be working for our favorite football team in the near future. It would be much cooler if the job went to someone that was actually a fan as opposed to someone that doesn’t really know what they’re talking about.
