Happy Friday, everyone!
Hey, it’s me! On a Friday! Well, we avoided a total meltdown yesterday (barely), as Rick & Co. signed a tackle. Thanks for pointing out the idiot troll yesterday, he was a little angry with me for banning him, so he tried trolling me on Twitter. I blocked him there, too. What a goof.
Around the DN since our last open thread(s):
Rhett Ellison signed with the Giants, per Eric. The size of the contract really surprised me, as although Rhett did a great job in his time in MN, he was never really a feature TE. Hey, good for him, I wish him all the best.
Ted shared the report that Riley Reiff is to sign with the Vikings.
Ted also shared a report that Eddie Lacy is to visit the
Golden Corral Vikings.
Wludford shares his thoughts on day one of Vikings free agency.

Vikings news from elsewhere:
From Matt Vensel at the Strib, the Vikings agreed to sign Riley Reiff from the Lions.
From the lunchbreak segment, defensive players nab the 2 top spots in ESPN’s best free agents list.
From class act to class clown, the lighter side of Greenway, from Lindsey Young.
Lindsey Young looks at LSU S Jamal Adams in her prospect profile.
Around the rest of the NFL:
From NFL.com, the Browns acquired Brock Osweiler from the Texans, but don’t plan to keep him (ya’ think ol’ Brock wishes he would have stayed in Denver?). It appears they intend to make a run at Jimmy Garoppolo.
ESPN has the latest free-agent signings and reactions.
We come to today’s media selection.
IT’S FRIDAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! Take it away, Mr. Jones!!!!!!
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the menudo.
