Welcome back to another episode of RTP. With free agency about two weeks old and the bulk of signings over, it's time to review what's transpired so far, in terms of signings, departures, and extensions.
They open the show by discussing the opening couple weeks of free agency. They give brief thoughts on free agency overall, and then discuss the signings of Riley Reiff, Mike Remmers, Latavius Murray, and Datone Jones.
At about 17:45, they discuss the rumor of Alshon Jeffery being offered more money by the Vikings, yet signing with the Eagles, which rolled into a conversation about the comments made by Riki Ellison and Nelson Peterson, the father's of two former Vikings players. They also talk about the re-signings of Terence Newman and Adam Thielen, and the importance they'll play in 2017.
Then it's on to the in-house free agents the Vikings didn't re-sign, at about the 33 minute mark. They discuss all the now former Vikings, and what impact their loss will mean for the team, if any. They also discuss Adrian Peterson, why he isn't signed, and where he might end up.
Finally, they end the show with listener questions, starting at about the 48:34 mark.
