Towards the end of February, we informed you folks out there of an opportunity to be a part of a movie that a group of Minnesota Vikings fans were making. Entitled “Wide Left,” the movie will feature fan-submitted stories of what it’s been like to be a fan of the purple and gold from the 1998 season up to the present day.

At the time, the creators said that they were looking towards a release date in “the next couple of months.” Well, it turns out that we’re going to be getting the movie very shortly.

Yes, the “Wide Left” movie will be hitting YouTube on 30 March, which is just one week from today.

While I didn’t personally submit anything myself, I hope that some of our readers will find their stories in the film. I’m very much looking forward to seeing the finished product. . .not necessarily for the parts where our collective hearts got ripped out, but there’s something nice about knowing that you weren’t alone in your dejection when such things occurred.

If the movie is embeddable from YouTube, we will put it up right here on DN for you to watch. . .and if it’s not, we’ll have the link here for you to go check it out.
