Longship Log

The Bridgewater Underground has returned!

Sharrif Floyd’s career might be in trouble. Yoikes.

The Vikings still need a backup quarterback.

Ted makes a mock.

“Wide Left” dropped today. Will be linked below.

Around the Horns

The Vikings made out like bandits from the Veterans Combine.

Purple For the Win’s new episode dropped yesterday.

Matthew Coller does a mock for the Vikings.

The Vikings are apparently still trying to figure out the right guard spot.

Swords from the Opposing Hordes

Apparently Ricky Jean Francois owns a ton of donut shops.

The Jaguars will sign Josh Scobee to a one-day contract.

Name-wise, the 2017 draft might be one of the best in history.

Martavis Bryant will be reinstated to Pittsburgh’s active roster.

John Harbaugh has high expectations of mediocrity.

Minnesota sports roundup

The Minnesota Wild appear to be finally pulling out of their schneid. After a brutally tough March, the Wild won convincingly 5-1 yesterday against the Ottawa Senators. Alex Stalock picked up his first win in a Minnesota jersey and plenty of people tallied points for Minnesota. The Wild will look to continue their slightly improved play when they travel to play the Predators of Nashville tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT.

The Timberwolves saw Ricky Rubio have a career night last night as they rolled through the Los Angeles Lakers 119-104. Rubio led all scorers with 33 points and 10 assists and KAT added 32 points and 9 rebounds. The Wolves will begin a span of playing eight games in 12 days to conclude the season tomorrow. They will be at home against the Sacramento Kings, with tip-off coming at 7:00 p.m. CT.

Here’s the documentary for your viewing pleasure/torture, depending on how much of a masochist you are about your fandom.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion

-No feeding of the trolls

-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)

-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags

-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment

-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away

-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door

With that, the disco light is down and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your local dolphin brigade, & try the boiled spleen bits.
