I got no links and you know the rules.

I will say that free agency is always the same for me as a Vikings fan.

You read reports about the Vikings being interested in the top players only to see them sign elsewhere for not too much more.

Like Wagner. 9 mil is tough but I can live with it considering the alternative. Also, defenses are now smart enough to move their best pass rusher over the face the right tackles. This makes having a very good one essential.

But the Vikings could not close the deal if the interest was real. This is becoming a common refrain.

I do find it interesting to read the typical responses. Many a fan will tell those that are disappointed that free agency just started, calm down, no one wins games by winning free agency, and all other kinds of garbage to do I don't know what.

It seems that they are interested in protecting the front office.

What happens if the Vikings do not get Reiff, Whitworth, Okung, and Kalil leaves. Any ideas?

This is a very distinct possibility.
