The Minnesota Vikings have a new starting tackle:
Former Lions OT Riley Reiff plans to sign with Vikings , per source.

Going in to free agency, one, if not two, starting tackles was almost a requirement. And within the first few minutes of free agency beginning, the Vikings made a big move. Reiff became a prime target of the Vikings...and many fans... when Reiff's old team, the Detroit Lions, reportedly signed Ricky Wagner.
Reiff, who like Matt Kalil was also a first round pick in 2012, was a fixture on the Lions offensive line, playing both left and right tackle while starting 69 (niice) of a possible 77 games.
So with the musical chairs of offensive linemen starting, it appears the Vikings won't be without a chair when the music stops, and Reiff will go a long way to help shore up an offensive line that is in need of a lot of help. I'm assuming Reiff will be penciled in to the starting LT slot, paired next to Alex Boone.
So Reiff is the first of what we hope will be several big signings we'll be able to report to you. Stay tuned to The Daily Norseman for all your free agency needs, and welcome to Minnesota, Riley Reiff!
