In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings traded up to make their first two selections, jumping up for Florida State running back Dalvin Cook and Ohio State center Pat Elflein. With the second of their two third round selections, the one the acquired from the Miami Dolphins in last year’s draft, they decided to make a move back.
The Vikings have made a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, allowing the Chiefs to move up to the 86th overall pick. Kansas City then used that pick to select Toledo running back Kareem Hunt.
In exchange, the Vikings received a third round compensatory selection from Kansas City, #104 overall. They also received a fourth-round choice at #132 overall and a seventh round choice, #245 overall.
We will do a complete recap of the Vikings’ picks for Day 3 at the end of the night. However, after this trade, they are next slated to pick again at #104 overall, and we’ll have the pick for you here.
