After making two selections in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have swung their fifth trade of draft weekend, this time making a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Vikings have made a deal with the Eagles, moving back seven spots in the fourth round and picking up another seventh-round draft choice. This deal means that the Vikings now have four selections in Round 7 of this year’s draft.
The Eagles then used pick #132 to select Donnel Pumphrey, a running back from San Diego State.
This might also give the Vikings the ability to trade back up into Round 5 of this year’s draft, as they currently do not have a fifth-round selection.
After this trade, the Vikings are slated to pick again at #139 overall. . .and then not until #199, which is in Round 6, after that. But, again, that’s without the Vikings making any more deals.
Keep it tuned right here for more results from the Minnesota Vikings’ 2017 NFL Draft!
