On the third day of the NFL Draft, teams tend to get a little creative with their selections, and the Minnesota Vikings are no exception. They enlisted some folks from the country of Iceland, where the new-famous “Skol” chant originated.

Many of you probably recognize the gentleman second from the left there. His name is Hafþór Júlíus "Thor" Björnsson. . .but you probably know him as “The Mountain” from the hit HBO series Game of Thrones.

While the Vikings’ selection that came after this intro may or may not end up being a memorable one. . .the team selected University of Michigan linebacker Ben Gedeon with the 120th overall pick. . .the introduction to the pick is one that should be talked about for quite a while.

After a series of trades, the Vikings are now not slated to select again until pick #170 overall in the fifth round. Barring getting an entire weightlifting team to do their intro, it won’t be quite as strong as this one.
