After a weekend of trading, the Minnesota Vikings find themselves with four selections in the seventh and final round of the 2017 NFL Draft, including back-to-back picks to start the round. With their first seventh-round selection, the team has grabbed another wide receiver.
With the 219th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have drafted wide receiver Stacy Coley out of the University of Miami.
Coley is another player with speed to burn, running a 4.39 second 40-yard dash. He is 2nd in receptions in the history of the University of Miami, which has put out some pretty impressive receiving talent over the years. He also has some experience as a returner, having returned kicks and punts for the Hurricanes. He projects to be more of a slot receiver for the Vikings at this point in time.
The Vikings still have three more picks to make in the draft’s final round, and we’ll have them all for you here.
Welcome to Minnesota, Stacy Coley!
