2017 NFL Draft: Minnesota Vikings Select Jack Tocho

The purple’s final pick of the 2017 NFL Draft is used on another defensive back

NCAA Football: Wake Forest at North Carolina State Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

With their final selection of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have added another member to the team’s defensive backfield.

With the 245th selection in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected North Carolina State defensive back Jack Tocho.

Tocho, the son of Kenyan immigrants, was a team captain for the Wolfpack as a senior. He struggled with injuries as a junior, but had a strong rebound season in 2016. He was a cornerback at North Carolina State, but may have the ability to transition to the safety spot as well. Overall, however, he’s got good size and solid experience as a press corner at the college level.

That does it for all of the Minnesota Vikings’ selections in the 2017 NFL Draft. We’ll have a lot more discussion about the 2017 draft class in the days to come, and we thank you for being a part of the festivities with us.

Welcome to Minnesota, Jack Tocho!
