Merry Wednesday, everyone!

Hey, we’re halfway to the weekend. I sure hate being cooped up all week when it’s nice out, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

There’s not a whole lot of football news, so let’s review a couple of last week’s polls (and post a new one). Thanks for participating, this is a neat way to get a pretty good idea of what the general consensus is among Vikings fans.

What do you think the Vikings will do in rounds 1-2?

10%-Move up to the end of the first
24%-Move up in the second
51%-Stand pat
11%-Move down & accumulate picks
4%-Fire Rick, rabble rabble

Which position should be the highest priority for the front office in the upcoming draft?

7%-Defensive tackle
60%-Offensive guard
5%-Linebacker
21%-Offensive tackle
2%-Safety
4%-Other

What do you think of Rick Spielman’s performance as the GM (starting in 2012 when Rick had full control)

30%-Great job, top 10 in the league
64%-Okay job, league average or so
6%-Bad job, bottom 10 in the league
1%-Fire Rick, worst GM ever, rabble rabble

Now, on to a new poll. I’m going to do my best to do a couple of these every week, then I’ll post the results the following week. Just something to do in this boring time of the off-season. If anyone has suggestions on a poll question, or a suggestion for something else to put up here, please let me know, my email is bradh65@yahoo.com.

Poll

I’m trying to get a feel for where Vikings fans are prior to the draft. How many wins do you think the Vikings will get next year?

We come to today’s media selection.

Get that batch of margaritas poured up, here’s a little Jimmy for your peak of the week.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the pickled pigs feet.
