Well, we were all set for a relatively easy, lazy day on the first day of Organized Team Activities for the Minnesota Vikings. Then, their social media folks decided to drop this on us.

What’s that? Oh, nothing too important. Just video footage of a guy whose leg basically freaking exploded nine months ago getting back out on the field with his teammates on the first day of OTAs.
Yes, Teddy Bridgewater was back on the field with his Vikings’ teammates for the first time since suffering his awful non-contact injury on the last day of Training Camp last season. Obviously, the video doesn’t show a whole lot, but this is still pretty remarkable progress by #5.
Hopefully, over the next few days and throughout OTAs, we’ll get some more updates on how Bridgewater is progressing. The fact that the team has not yet put any sort of actual timetable on his return says that he still has a ways to go, and that’s entirely possible.
But man. . .how great is it just seeing him out there again, huh?
