Wow, I totally forgot to put links in here last night, & it was a busy morning. Oops. I can’t wait to read the comments.
Around the DN since our last open thread:
Peter King thinks Dalvin Cook will be a top 5 running back by Halloween, per Chris.
Chris shared a couple of rule changes that were approved at the owner’s meeting, two players can now return from IR every season, and overtime was reduced from fifteen minutes to ten (which was basically pointless).
Chris also shared the awesome friggin’ news that Teddy was on the field at OTAs. I’m pulling for this kid.
Vikings news from other sources:
Thanks to kathy for this link from Cardinal Sports Zone, they talk about Teddy Bridgewater in The Story of a Champion.
From Vikings.com, here are highlights from OTA number one.
Sam Bradford is the starter......for now, according to the USA Today.
News from around the rest of the NFL:
The Seahawks are expected to work out Colin Kaepernick to possibly back up Russell Wilson, per NFL.com.
We come to today’s media selection.
Five will appreciate this one.
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the blood sausage.
