The latest signee out of Winter Park is offensive lineman Danny Isidora, the second of Minnesota’s two fifth-round picks in April’s NFL Draft.
Isidora fell a little farther than some may have thought on draft weekend, allowing the Vikings to select him with the 180th overall selection. With as many issues as the Vikings had on the offensive line in 2016, there’s going to be plenty of opportunity for Isidora to at least stick as depth early on. He was one of two offensive linemen that the Vikings selected in this year’s draft, along with the team’s third-round pick, Ohio State center Pat Elflein.
Isidora is the fifth Vikings’ draftee to sign his rookie deal in the past two days. The Vikings rookies that are still unsigned, at least as of now, are as follows:
- Dalvin Cook (second round)
- Pat Elflein (third round)
- Bucky Hodges (sixth round)
- Stacy Coley (seventh round)
- Elijah Lee (seventh round)
- Jack Tocho (seventh round)
