We begin another week of the long off-season

Dixon Edwards

Merry Monday, everyone!

I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris posted number 76 of Minnesota Vikings by the Numbers, which was a close one, and he also posted number 75, which wasn’t so close. He also posted number 74, which wasn’t a difficult choice, either.

Arif posted Norse Code Podcast 184: A Very Special Rudy and Floyd.

The Vikings found their new strength and conditioning coach, as they hired Mark Uyeyama, per Chris. Uyeyama comes with high praise, per Skelly10.

Skelly10 shared the news that the Vikings are standing behind Michael Floyd’s Kombucha Tea defense.

Eric was on the Chase Thomas podcast, and Ted was on Florio’s Fantasy Update Weekend Show.

A QB’s first three years usually determine whether he’ll be successful, and SaxyPrince looks at Sam Bradford’s first three.

Chris wonders if consistency at Offensive Coordinator could be the key for Sam Bradford in 2017.

Vikings news from other sources:

Matt Vensel at the Strib makes some early Vikings roster projections.

News from around the rest of the league:

Broncos QB Paxton Lynch is making a case to be the Broncos’ starter, per NFL.com.

In Houston, Tom Savage is still the favorite over Deshaun Watson, according to Fox Sports.

The Mets have promoted Tim Tebow to Class A Advanced St. Lucie, per NFL.com.

We come to our media selection.

Hey, we haven’t done any funny drunks in a while. Here you are, enjoy!

We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep vulgar language to a minimum, using spoiler tags if you must
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the hog maws
