Hump daaaaaayyyyyyyy!

Tommy Kramer

Merry Wednesday, everyone!

We’re half-way to the weekend, and an extra-long weekend for some.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris looks at #72 in Minnesota Vikings By The Numbers.

CCNorseman looks at Sam Bradford’s career in great detail to see whether his lack of success (lack of being able to guide his teams to success, I should say) has been on him or on surrounding factors. Great article here, in my opinion. There is no definitive answer, obviously, but CC shares a lot of great info.

Have a Vikings question? Ask Roughing the Podcast, Ted and Di might just have the answer!

Linval Joseph just missed the NFL Network top 100 list, per Chris. This makes the NFL top 100 list invalid, IMHO.

Vikings news from other sources:

Here’s a great video of Coach Zimmer wired for sound during one of last month’s minicamp practices, from Vikings.com.

From ESPN, Latavius Murray plans to tutor Dalvin Cook, but expects to start.

1500ESPN looks at PFF’s optimism for the Vikngs O line in 2017.

News from around the rest of the NFL:

Zach Orr was forced to retire because of a congenital neck/spine condition, but a new prognosis has him ready to play again, per NFL.com.

SI.com looks at how all 32 teams handle analytics.

We come to our media selection.

There was a lot of bad music in the 90s, but there were some great ones, like this one. Enjoy.

We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep vulgar language to a minimum, using spoiler tags if you must
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the pickled pigs feet.
