If we haven’t mentioned it already, we are deep in the throes of the offseason for the Minnesota Vikings (and 31 less important NFL teams) as we wait for the start of Training Camp. We’ll keep trying to up the excitement level here, and there is nothing that says excitement more than. . .
Some hot game-winning field goal action!
Yes, courtesy of the folks from the Vikings page on Reddit, we bring you this video of every game-winning field goal for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2016. You won’t see current Vikings’ kicker Kai Forbath in this one, but you will see plenty of Ryan Longwell and Blair Walsh.
Some of these are actual last-second kicks, while some of them happened late in the fourth quarter with the Vikings’ opponent still having an opportunity to win. There is a helpful label on each kick that shows exactly which game the kick happened in.
This video also basically encompasses the entire Daily Norseman “era,” with the first kick coming from the first regular season game we I ever covered, so that’s pretty cool, I think.
