Stefon Diggs Hangs Out At Wimbledon

With just a couple of weeks to go until the Minnesota Vikings report to Mankato for training camp, one member of the team is getting acquainted with some grass of a different kind.

(No, no. . .not that.)

Our friends over at The Vikings Wire have informed us that wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been on the other side of the big pond this week, and he’s spent some time at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club to watch the second week of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

The Vikings Wire tells us that this is Court Three at Wimbledon, and Diggs was apparently there to see CoCo Vandeweghe, who upset the #5 ranked player in the world, Caroline Wozniacki, to move on to the quarterfinals. (Vandeweghe would go on to lose her quarterfinal match.)

Apparently he’s there with his friend, Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Kenny Stills.

I’m not sure if Diggs has ever expressed his love for tennis before. Diggs and the rest of his Vikings teammates will be making more of a business trip to the United Kingdom in October, when the team takes on the Cleveland Browns at Twickenham Stadium. Perhaps Diggs is just trying to get some sightseeing out of the way now so that he can relax a little more when the team is there with work to do.

Just a couple more weeks until Training Camp, folks. . .then we’ll have actual football to talk about. But, in the meantime, this is still pretty cool.
