Merry Monday everyone!

This may be a bit brief today, lots going on. Thankfully, it’s the off-season & there isn’t a whole lot of news to share anyway.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

In Minnesota Vikings By The Numbers, Chris tackled number 55 (see what I did there?), he also looked at number 54, and also number 53.

Ted has the top five questions about the Vikings’ concerns as they prepare for Mankato.

Michael Floyd was suspended four games by the NFL, per Chris.

The Vikings’ value has increased substantially over the past year, also from Chris.

Adam Thielen was off playing a little prairie pool, he played in a Pro-Am tournament at Lake Tahoe.

Chris shared a 2017 Vikings hype video, and he also has a game to test your Vikings knowledge.

The SB Nation QB draft had mixed results for the Vikings.

The Vikings are to receive $55 million in relocation fees.

From Chris, the Vikings are in the top quarter in the league in roster turnover this year.

Chris shared the transcript from Teddy Bridgewater’s interview.

Here’s another Teddy Bridgewater video, he’s looking much better than anyone expected him to look this early in his recovery.

Chris shared the ESPN story that puts Shurmur on a list of potential 2018 head coaches, we discussed this one last week, IIRC.

Chris has the top 10 Vikings salaries for 2017.

Coach Zimmer has been cleared to fly......finally.

Finally (lots of stories this weekend, whew), Chris wants to talk about U.S. Bank Stadium and birds.

Vikings news from other sources:

Australian Jacko Strong took home a silver medal in the X-Games, and waved a Vikings flag in celebration.

News from around the NFL:

From NESN.com, Johnny Manziel said he’s spoken with several teams about coming back to play in the NFL.

From Fox Sports, Texans RB D’Onta Foreman was arrested over the weekend on drug and weapons charges.

David Johnson says he can handle 30 touches a game if they want him to get that many touches, per NFL.com. Let’s hope that doesn’t impeded Carson Palmer’s development.

We come to our media selection.

We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep vulgar language to a minimum, using spoiler tags if you must
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the pickled pigs feet.
