The Arturo Uzdavinis Era in Minnesota has already come to an end.
On Wednesday, the team announced that they had waived Uzdavinis, who they just signed on Monday, and have signed cornerback Sam Brown.
The 6’2”, 180-pound Brown played his college ball at Missouri Western State, which sounds like one of those places that’s made up for movies about college football but is, apparently, an actual school. He went undrafted in 2016 and signed with the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens released him with an injury settlement in August, but brought him back to their practice squad towards the end of the season.
That concludes everything that I know about Sam Brown as it stands right now, which is basically the same level of knowledge that I had about Uzdavinis when the Vikings brought him on board. If the Vikings sign any more players that we haven’t heard of, or even players that we have, we will bring that news to you as soon as we can.
