On Wednesday, we got the news that all fans of the Minnesota Vikings have been expecting for quite a while. It’s not a surprise by any stretch, but at least now it’s official.
The Vikings have officially placed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on the Physically Unable to Perform List after he reported to camp on Wednesday. This means that Bridgewater will not be practicing with the team until he gets medical clearance to do so, but he will still be able to do conditioning and rehab work.
Bridgewater suffered his horrific knee injury about eleven months ago, and in recent weeks we’ve seen videos showing that he’s made some pretty incredibly progress, all things considered. However, the Vikings have determined that he’s not ready for actual football action yet, and have placed him on the PUP List as a result.
In what might be bigger news, Bridgewater is slated to actually speak to the media tomorrow about his injury, the first time he has done so since he got hurt. So that should hold some intrigue, if nothing else.
Once again, the Minnesota Vikings have placed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start this year’s Training Camp.
