Watch: Teddy Bridgewater Training Camp Press Conference

His first time answering questions since his injury

NFL: Minnesota Vikings-Minicamp Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

On Thursday in Mankato, Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Teddy Bridgewater answered questions about his leg injury. It was the first time he has spoken to the media since sustaining the awful non-contact injury to his knee at a practice eleven months ago.

While we are waiting for the transcript of today’s press conference, the folks from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune have posted their video of the presser on YouTube, so we’ll give you that here.

The video is just over 25 minutes long (though Bridgewater’s portion doesn’t start until about ten minutes in), and Bridgewater took a lot of questions from the media. The questions, of course, largely centered around his rehabilitation and whether or not he’s going to be able to play again, but there were questions on a couple of other things as well.

Once we have a transcript of today’s press conference from the Vikings’ Public Relations folks, we will put that up here in a separate post. For now, however, we’re happy that someone posted the video.
