It’s Day 8 of Minnesota Vikings Training Camp down in Mankato, and it looks like we’ve finally reached the “can we hit somebody else because I’m tired of hitting the same people” phase.
Yes, we had a scuffle today at Training Camp, with the combatants being wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and defensive back Antone Exum. Let’s go to the highlights, courtesy of Dave Schwartz of KARE-11.

In the first part of the video, you can see Treadwell get around Exum and go up for what appears to be a really impressive touchdown catch. After that, well, Exum appears to be less than pleased with that, doing his best to go after Treadwell with teammate Adam Thielen standing between the two of them.
Yeah, it wasn’t Okada vs Omega or anything like that, but we generally don’t see a lot of fights at Vikings Training Camp. I’m sure that, like most of these scuffles, it was just a temporary sort of thing and everyone is back to chasing the same goal now that it’s over.
But, hey, it does give us something extra to talk about.
