Minnesota Vikings Special Teams Depth Chart

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Kicker: Kai Forbath

The Vikings let go of Blair Walsh last season, and Kai Forbath stepped in admirably. Forbath went 15 of 15 on all field goals, and made 11 out of 14 extra points. Forbath does not have the biggest leg, but has proven to be consistent. He will have to hold off Marshall Koehn for the starting spot.

Punter: Taylor Symmank

Not only did the Vikings lose their place kicker, they lost their punter as well. Jeff Locke had a career year in 2016, but decided to leave for Indianapolis, and the Vikings look to replace him. Symmank has shown upside, but Ryan Quigley could beat him for the spot.

Long Snapper: Kevin McDermott

Kevin McDermott won the job from Cullen Loeffler a couple of seasons ago. He has no competition this season but will need to create chemistry with the new punter and kicker.
