Episode 28 of Roughing The Podcast kicks off by discussing the 49ers game. Woof.
Di and Ted talked about the offensive line, and whether or not Nick Easton should replace Alex Boone at LG. Ted also bends the knee and admits Di was right about Pat Elflein winning the starting center job...or was it ploy to get Di to say good things about an OSU player? Hmmm...
On defense, there’s even loss positive takeaways, but they talk linebacker and Ben Gedeon winning the job at the Will spot, and which one of Emmanuel Lamur or Edmond Robinson gets cut.
From there, they reflect on the one year anniversary of Teddy Bridgewater’s knee injury, and make fun of themselves for the episode they aired the day it happened, and how it was possible that two mature adults could sound like emo teenagers for 20 minutes or so. From there, it was fantasy football time. Ted laughs at Di for drafting Julian Edelman, and they each give you a Vikings sleeper pick along with a Vikings player you should avoid.
There really isn’t much of a preview of the Dolphins game, because Mitch Leidner is going to see significant game time, and that really tells you all you need to know about the final pre-season game.
Finally, they wrap the show up with listener questions, and predict the first half record for the Vikings.
