UPDATE: The scrimmage is underway from Mankato, folks! We’re bumping this thread so that people can find it and keep track of tonight’s action.
It’s a big day at Minnesota Vikings Training Camp today, folks. This evening is the annual scrimmage at Blakeslee Stadium in Mankato, which is something that I know everyone looks forward to each year.
The schedule for today is a little different. The morning session will still take place from 10:30 to 11:30 AM Central time, but the night session won’t be kicking off until 7:15 PM and should run for approximately two hours.
Today is, in fact, so big, that we have two members of our team down in Mankato to track all the action. Eric Thompson is still down there, along with ace photographer Thad Chesley, and today he will be joined by Yinka Ayinde to cover the happenings at practice. You can follow both of them on the Twitter machine below.
As usual, we ask that there be NO GIFs in the Training Camp Open Thread, so that things don’t get bogged down for anyone that’s looking for information.
We will probably bump this thread up to the top of the page again if it gets pushed down by stuff prior to the scrimmage. Enjoy, ladies and gentlemen!
