The gang’s all here!
On Saturday afternoon, a plethora of writers from all corners of the Vikings blogosphere converged at Boulder Tap House in Mankato to record a special episode of the Purple FTW! Podcast. Along with host Andy Carlson was the following star-studded cast:
- Eric Thompson and Yinka Ayinde from Daily Norseman
- Sam Ekstrom and Luke Inman from Zone Coverage
- Arif Hasan from...everywhere
- BJ Reidell and Drew Mahowald from Vikings Territory
We started by discussing the big news of the day: Linval Joseph’s fancy new 4-year, $50 million contract. We marveled at what a great deal it should be relatively speaking for the team.
From there we went on to democratically project the entire 53-man roster and 10-man practice squad from top to bottom. Much the Vikings will have to do in a few weeks, there were some incredibly tough decisions we had to make, but I think we were all pretty happy with the final results.
