With all the focus being on players getting waived or released, it’s important to remember that there could be some trades taking place in the National Football League over the next couple of days as well. We’ve got a report that says that the Minnesota Vikings may be getting interest in one of their linebackers.
I'm hearing the Dolphins last night showed some interest in possibly trading for #Vikings LB Kentrell Brothers. Played 39 snaps against them

Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that the Miami Dolphins could be interested in linebacker Kentrell Brothers.
Brothers, the Vikings’ fifth-round pick out of Missouri in the 2016 NFL Draft, was a monster on special teams for the Vikings as a rookie. It was thought that Brothers may have had an opportunity for an expanded role in the base defense, but the emergence of linebackers such as fourth-round pick Ben Gedeon and undrafted free agent Eric Wilson may have made Brothers expendable.
I’m not sure how much the Vikings could potentially get in a trade for Brothers, but you can bet that Rick Spielman is at least exploring the possibility if his former employer has an interest.
