Another roster move has come down for the Minnesota Vikings, and it’s not a terribly surprising one given the level of talent the team has on the defensive line.
Source says #Vikings will waive DE Sam McCaskill. Still a possible chance for the practice squad.

Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that the Vikings will be waiving defensive end Sam McCaskill.
McCaskill signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft. He played his college football at Boise State. It appears that the Vikings could bring him back to the practice squad if another team doesn’t pounce on him, but he always had fairly long odds of making the roster with the bevy of talent that the Vikings have along the defensive line.
McCaskill’s release means that eight members of the Vikings have not gotten their walking papers. We will be tracking all of the moves on our Roster Cut Tracker, and that stream will have links to all the release stories that we will be posting. Keep refreshing, and keep it right here for the latest.
