Another roster move for the Minnesota Vikings, and this one is coming on the offensive line.
#Vikings releasing OL Freddie Tagaloa, per source
— Andrew Krammer (@Andrew_Krammer) September 1, 2017
According to Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Vikings will be waiving offensive lineman Freddie Tagaloa.
The massive Tagaloa signed as an undrafted free agent after receiving a mini-camp tryout with the Vikings after this year’s draft. He has incredible size at about 6’8” and 360 pounds, but he was just a little too raw for the Vikings to do anything with at the present time. It will be interesting to see if the team tries to bring him back to the practice squad, since he could be a solid project for the future.
More moves are coming for the Vikings, and we will be making note of them all on our Roster Cut Tracker. Be sure to use it for all of the latest news and transactions coming from Rick Spielman and company from Winter Park as we get closer to Saturday’s 3:00 PM Central roster deadline.
