At halftime of their Monday Night Football opener against the New Orleans Saints, the Minnesota Vikings will put wide receiver Randy Moss into their Ring of Honor. Arguably the greatest receiver in the history of the franchise (and, seriously, Moss and Cris Carter are 1a and 1b, no matter how you slice it), it will be a big moment for #84.
The Vikings’ current best wide receivers, Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, will both be paying tribute to Moss this evening. . .with their feet.
.@stefondiggs and @athielen19 will represent the on their cleats tonight.

Courtesy of Mache Custom Kicks, both Diggs and Thielen will be wearing custom cleats tonight to honor Moss.
While Thielen’s cleats (on the right) are, dare I say, sort of plain, Diggs’ cleats are pretty freaking spectacular. They’ve got Moss’ name all over them, and they also pay tribute to the 2004 AFROS Randy Moss (AFROS standing for America’s Finest Receivers On Sunday), as well as the Moon over Lambeau from that 2004 postseason.
I’m not sure if the league will actually allow Thielen and Diggs to wear these during the game this evening, but even if it’s just for pregame, it’s pretty nice to see a tribute to Randy Moss on his big night.
