We are just ninety minutes away from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, folks, and both the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints have released their inactive lists for tonight’s contest. Let’s see who will be sitting this one out, starting with the visiting team.

New Orleans Saints

LB Stephone Anthony

OT Terron Armstead

WR Austin Carr

DB Ken Crowley

DE Trey Hendrickson

QB Taysom Hill

LB Nate Stupar

Armstead’s absence means that a rookie, Ryan Ramczyk, will start at left tackle for the Saints this evening. It will be interesting to see how he handles Everson Griffen and what should be a raucous U.S. Bank Stadium crowd.

And now, on to the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

WR Rodney Adams

DE Tashawn Bower

CB Tramaine Brock

OT Aviante Collins

DB Antone Exum, Jr.

OL Danny Isidora

DT Jaleel Johnson

Johnson being inactive is a bit of a surprise, to be honest. I really thought he would have gotten an opportunity in this one. Bower, the preseason sensation, is out for this one as well. Adams being out means that Jerick McKinnon will likely be handling kick returns. At least, I’d assume that would be the case.

We will have the Open Thread for the first quarter up and running for you at the top of the hour, ladies and gentlemen. We are getting closer to kickoff. . .can you feel it?
