Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers: Final Injury Reports for Both Teams

The Vikings have three players listed as questionable

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Minnesota Vikings Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

We are about 48 hours away from kickoff at Heinz Field, ladies and gentlemen, and that means we have the final injury reports for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Let’s take a look at both of those, starting with the visiting team as we always do.

Minnesota Vikings Injury Report

Player Position Injury Wednesday Thursday Friday Sunday Status
Player Position Injury Wednesday Thursday Friday Sunday Status
Anthony Barr LB Hamstring DNP DNP LP Questionable
Sam Bradford QB Knee LP LP LP Questionable
Xavier Rhodes CB Hip ------ LP LP Questionable
Tramaine Brock CB Groin FP FP FP ------
Danny Isidora G Knee FP FP FP ------
Emmanuel Lamur LB Hamstring LP LP FP ------
Terence Newman CB Knee ------ LP FP ------

Obviously, the three players that the Vikings have listed as “questionable” are all pretty significant names. We’ve touched on the Sam Bradford situation a little bit already, but Mike Zimmer says that he expects Bradford to start on Sunday. I’m sure Xavier Rhodes and Anthony Barr will both be out there as well. The strange thing about all three of those injuries is that I’m not sure if anyone (except the team) knows when, exactly, they occurred. Hopefully those three players won’t be slowed too much by their current issues.

And now, we move on to the home team.

Pittsburgh Steelers Injury Report

Player Position Injury Wednesday Thursday Friday Sunday Status

Stephon Tuitt DE Biceps DNP DNP LP Questionable
J.J. Wilcox S Concussion DNP DNP LP Questionable
Sean Davis S Ankle ------ LP FP ------
Bud Dupree LB Shoulder LP LP FP ------

Stephon Tuitt just signed a pretty hefty new contract extension with the Steelers, and earlier in the week his biceps injury was something that was rumored to potentially be season-ending. However, he did have some participation in practice on Friday for the Steelers. We’ll have to see how Mike Tomlin wants to play things for them on Sunday.

That’s a full look at the injury reports for both the Vikings and the Steelers going into Sunday’s contest in Pittsburgh. We’ll have more coverage of this week’s game as we approach kickoff.
