It appears that one of the many Minnesota natives that the Minnesota Vikings had in Training Camp this year will not be on the 53-man roster.
Former #Gophers WR Isaac Fruechte will also be among the players the #Vikings let go today, I hear. Still has a bright future, IMO.

According to Darren Wolfson of KSTP in Minneapolis, the Vikings will be waiving wide receiver Isaac Fruechte.
Fruechte, a native of Caledonia who played his college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, was on the practice squad for much of last season. He did get onto the 53-man roster for the season finale. It hasn’t been made clear whether or not he will be brought back to the practice squad again, but that’s something that will shake out over the next couple of days.
We are getting closer to the 3:00 PM Central deadline for teams to reduce their rosters to 53 players. We are tracking all of the action on our Roster Cut Tracker, so be sure to keep it tuned right here so that you can keep yourself updated.
