This news certainly doesn’t rock for Fragel.
The Minnesota Vikings roster cuts keep coming fast and furious. After I sent out a tweet listing all the current known releases for the Vikings, KSTP’s Darren Wolfson added a couple of new names to the list:
Add Fruechte and Fragel.

While some might be surprised by the former Golden Gopher being cut, the release of Fragel probably didn’t catch many off guard. Fragel never really got much run in Training Camp or the preseason and was always buried down the depth chart. The most notable thing Fragel did during his time with the Vikings was getting kicked out of a practice in Mankato for fighting. If a scuffle is your sole claim to fame, chances are that you were never in the mix to make the 53-man roster in the first place.
