It appears that another member of the Minnesota Vikings’ 2017 draft class will not make the initial 53-man roster, but it sounds like the team wants to bring him back.
#Vikings to release Ifeadi Odenigbo. They want him for practice squad.

According to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the team is waiving defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo.
Odenigbo was one of the Vikings’ four seventh round picks in the 2017 NFL Draft after an outstanding college career at Northwestern. He was thought to be a fairly raw prospect, and it makes sense that the team would like to bring him back to the practice squad. With the success that the team has had coaching up physically gifted defensive ends, Minnesota would be a good place for Odenigbo to develop, I would think.
