Well, ladies and gentlemen, the smoke has cleared and the dust has settled, and the Minnesota Vikings (along with every other team in the National Football League) has reduced their 90-man rosters to 53.
Keep in mind that, despite the 53-man roster looking like this now, there’s a good chance that it won’t look like this tomorrow. There are waiver claims to be made and other things, so not everyone that is currently on the 53-man roster is guaranteed to make it to the 2017 regular season with the purple.
The final five cuts for the team, as the Vikings didn’t release their names individually, were as follows:
- TE Kyle Carter
- WR Cayleb Jones
- LB Edmond Robinson
- OT Austin Shepherd
- P Taylor Symmank
