Wednesday Open Thread: September 20, 2017

Merry Wednesday, everyone!

We’re working our way through the week, toward the weekend, and toward the Vikings match up at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I REALLY hope Bradford plays in this one, I don’t care to see Keenum play any more than he has to.

Fox Sports takes a look at the snap counts from Sunday’s game, and noted that Treadwell is getting more involved.

Over at Vikings.com, they shared a clip from NFL.com where the panel discusses the latest regarding Bradford’s injury and the most recent guess on his return. In his 10 Numbers of Note, Eric Smith points out that Marcus Sherels is now the Vikings’ all-time punt return leader, they also have a game preview of Sunday’s Vikings-Buccaneers game.

From NFL.com, the Dolphins have suspended LB Lawrence Timmons indefinitely (although the max they can suspend him for is four games, per the CBA. I guess they think “indefinitely” has a nice ring to it). It’s not completely clear what happened here, Timmons missed the team’s first game for a reason that was not team or football related. Timmons gave the team a reason for missing the game, so the team investigated, and they apparently weren’t satisfied.

Not wasting any time, the Dolphins traded an undisclosed 2018 draft pick to the Saints for LB Stephone Anthony, per NFL.com.
