On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings dismantled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-17, and in all three phases of the game, the consensus was the Vikings dominated the Bucs.
Unless you’re Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans, who was largely matched up on Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes.
Rhodes has been dominant this year, shutting down three of the best WR’s in the NFL, to include Michael Thomas of New Orleans and Antonio Brown of the Steelers prior to shutting down Evans on Sunday.
How good has Rhodes been? This good:

Yesterday, the official NFL Twitter account had a pretty cool tweet highlighting what Rhodes has accomplished so far:

It was a neat graphic, it made the point, and it’s not inaccurate. Evan Evans was visibly frustrated on the sidelines late in the game:
67 yards, no TDs, and this. Yeah, Rhodes Open pic.twitter.com/ppa2RZuvsf

But Mike Evans disagrees with all of this, you guys:

Oh, okay Mike. See you next time. Might want to take a detour to Minnesota on your next trip though. We expect the Rhodes to be closed for quite awhile.
