Happy Friday (again), everyone!

There seems to be a bit of excitement in Vikings land for some reason, lots of comments today.

News and updates since our last open thread:

From The Pioneer Press, if things go as we hope they do, Terence Newman may return at the age of 40 to go for a repeat.

NFL.com has a preview of the Vikings-Eagles NFCCG on Sunday, also a preview of the Championship game from that other division.

From NFL.com, Tom Brady did not participate in Thursday’s practice. I’d caution you to read much into anything coming out of Patriots camp, Bilichick likes to play games with the injury report, so I won’t believe anything until I see Hoyer under center.

Sean Payton is making the Saints one of the NFL’s most hated teams, per NOLA.com. Even his own fan base is starting to notice how big of a d-bag he is.
