Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s injury report day today in the National Football League, and both the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles have released their final injury reports in advance of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. Let’s take a look at both of the reports here and check out the bumps and bruises. We’ll start, as we always do, with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings Injury Report
|Adam Thielen||WR||Low Back||DNP||LP||LP||Questionable|
Yes, I would imagine there’s quite a bit of puckering happening around Vikings’ nation right now after seeing Adam Thielen’s name on the injury list. Thielen did something to his back during last week’s victory, but still finished the ball game and made a pretty impressive catch after the injury (that you can see in the picture that accompanies this story). Andrew Sendejo is, apparently, still in the concussion protocol after taking that cheap shot last Sunday, even though he was a full participant in Friday’s practice. The only player that the Vikings have ruled out is defensive tackle Shamar Stephen, which means we’re likely going to see more Jaleel Johnson in the rotation this weekend.
And now, on to the home team. Don’t blink. . .you might miss it.
Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report
Yep. . .just three names on the injury report for the Eagles, and only Dannell Ellerbe is listed as questionable. That’s a pretty clean injury report for the home team in this one, and honestly not a whole lot to talk about in connection with it. So, I won’t.
There are your final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles going into the NFC Championship Game, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll continue adding more to our coverage of this one as we get closer to kickoff.
