Monday Open Thread: January 22, 2018

Monday, the morning after

Well, I’ve got nothing. I have no clue how a defense comes out and looks the exact opposite of how they’ve looked. Best in the NFL in 3rd downs, tough against the pass and run, fewest points allowed in the NFL...........then there’s yesterday. The Eagles are a great team, and they deserved the win, and I’ll be cheering for them in 2 weeks (although I probably won’t watch. I’m done with football for this year), BUT they aren’t as good as we made them look, that was horrible play by the Vikings vs. great play by the Eagles. Period.

This team is still great with a lot of young talent, and I think they’ll come back strong again next year. I don’t care right now. I get you’re all upset, but don’t go crazy in the thread. I won’t be around, so let me know if something’s getting stupid & I’ll come in and exterminate. Don’t get ignorant, or I’ll just start placing bans until I get the right person. If you’re an Eagles fan, congrats on a solid win. I hope you beat New England. Be cool while you’re here. If you’re here to gloat, don’t.

I have less patience than usual today.......I actually have none. to illustsrate what IU mean, people in my office aren’t even going to talk to me. As in, not even a “hi” or “are you finished with xxxxx?”, nothing. Behave accordingly.

I would say a word here that I really want to say to sum up my feelings, but I can’t & won’t. It has four letters.

News:

I don’t care. If you do, here’s a post-game wrap-up from Chris, and another one from wludford.

The Vikings know where they stand on the draft board, they’ll have the 30th pick, per Chris.

Other than that, go ahead & discuss & share, I’ll try to update this with some links, but if I feel the same way in the morning as I do right now, I won’t. Sorry.
