One of the Minnesota Vikings’ true greats is going under the knife on Wednesday, and could use some positive vibes.
According to Pro Football Talk, Hall of Fame defensive end Chris Doleman is going to be having surgery on Wednesday to remove a brain tumor.
Doleman was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012. He was drafted by the Vikings in 1985 with the #4 overall pick in the draft. He had two separate stints with the Vikings, playing for the team from 1985 to 1993 and returning to the team for one final season in 1999. He is also a member of the Vikings’ Ring of Honor and one of the 50 Greatest Vikings of All Time.
We want to send our thoughts and prayers to Chris Doleman and his family at this time. Hopefully the surgery will be successful and Doleman and his family can continue being a part of the Vikings’ community.
