Merry Tuesday, everyone!

We’re in the official unofficial off-season, it’s gonna be a long ride but we’ll get there. Hey, they’re talking air temps of 30 below with wind chills of -55 here in ND by the weekend. Might want to wear a hat & gloves.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Yay, more tolling conversation. Not trolling, that’s what most of the comments are here. Tolling is one option the Vikings have with Teddy Bridgewater’s contract (you may remember the 38,932,158 discussions about that this season), and it would probably cause some issues, per Chris. Vikings news from other sources and news from around the league:

1500ESPN ponders whether the Vikings should franchise Case Keenum.]

Zygi Wilf says the team is at the top of their game, per Andrew Krammer at the Strib.

From, Randall McDaniel and John Randle discuss their HOF careers, the team’s loss vs. the Eagles, and more as they joined ‘Super Bowl Live’.

Oh boy, the mock drafts are starting. CBS Sports has their latest guesstimate on how day one will play out.

Tom Brady said that ‘things change quickly’ when asked about his football future, from

We come to today’s media selection.

I love real country (not that garbage they play now), and here’s one from a man they call The Storyteller, Mr. Tom T. Hall. Hey, he likes beer. I wonder if he has any crock pot recipes.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, & try the Drano. In the immortal words of Frank Drebbin, “Sure, it’ll clean you out, but it’ll leave you feeling hollow inside”
