Merry Hump Day, everyone!

Well, the off-season shuffling has started in earnest, and it’s not even the off-season yet (officially, anyway). I expect to hear about the Vikes’ next offensive coordinator sometime today or tomorrow, so I’m eager to see who they choose. I think we saw the difference a coach can make when we made the previous swap. Let’s hope they can keep trending in the upward direction with this hire.

Wow! The off-season craziness has gotten off to a fast start. The Chiefs reportedly have agreed to send QB Alex Smith to the Washington Redskins, and the Redskins are rumored to have agreed to offer Smith a 4-year extension for something around $94 million with $71 million in guarantees. Also, this means that Kirk Cousins will be the hot commodity in free agency, I can’t imagine the crazy money someone will throw at him. Holy cow.
